Tab Claims Kris Kardashian Kontrols Daughters’ Lives

In Touch Weekly has a long and illustrious history of blanketing its pages with bogus digs at the Kardashian family.
Whether it’s theorizing that Kourtney Kardashian is “faking it” with Scott Disick, claiming Khloe Kardashian‘s husband Lamar Odom had proposed to another woman, or taking an alleged abuser’s word that Kim Kardashian is “betraying” her sisters, there’s no weak rumor In Touch won’t touch.
So we can’t say we’re surprised the tab now takes a swing at Kris Kardashian.
In Touch alleges the matriarch exercises complete control over her famous daughters, “from business decisions and wardrobe picks to who their friends are and even, more importantly, some suspect, who they hook up with and who they break up with.”
Let’s see if the mag dangles evidence as well as it dangles participles.
An alleged “associate” claims Kris “pushes [her girls] to make a name for themselves,” and that the more famous her “money-making machines” become, the “harder she pushes them.”
Her mom “basically forced” Kim Kardashian to buddy up with Paris Hilton, according to a “pal,” since Hilton was a huge star and Kris saw an opportunity. Meanwhile, a “source” says Kris “seems to have taught Kim to put fame before finding true passion.”
The In Touch allegations get even uglier.
Kris is supposedly pressuring a reluctant Khloe to get pregnant in order to “increase her star power” and wants a wedding between Kourtney and Disick that “could outrate Khloe’s” television numbers.
Essentially, claims In Touch, Kris Kardashian is a puppet master who controls every aspect of her daughters’ lives in an all-consuming bid to increase their profitability.
Kind of like how In Touch tries to play its readers with empty, insulting innuendo.
A source close to the family calls the tab’s tales “ridiculous.” Given In Touch‘s pattern of creating Kardashian drama where none exists, Gossip Cop is inclined to agree.
