CLAIM: Kris Jenner Upset Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Did Not Sell Wedding Pics
According to the New York Post, offers to publish the pictures from Kimye’s Florence nuptials soared into eight-digit territory. Instead, the newlyweds “took a cue from Jay Z and Beyonce and decided to keep control of the shots.”
In the weeks since their wedding, West and Kardashian have shared shots from the event, free, on social media. But Jenner “very much wanted to sell the pictures,” claims a Post source, and “was none too happy.” She was “seething,” alleges the outlet.
Except the Post, which once falsely claimed West and Kardashian were “cooling off,” is wrong again. While Jenner certainly has a role in many of her family’s business arrangements, we’re told Kardashian and West wanted their wedding to be completely on their own terms — and that Jenner was fully on board.
A source close to Kardashian tells Gossip Cop the report is totally off base. Meanwhile, a Jenner source bluntly calls the story a “fabricated lie.”
And West and Kardashian choosing not sell photos of one of their most intimate moments is hardly surprising. The couple didn’t formally share pictures from their elaborate engagement celebration last year at AT&T Park. And when daughter North was born, the first photo wasn’t revealed in a magazine either.
