CLAIM: Kanye West Afraid Kris Jenner Will Die From Plastic Surgery Like His Mom

“Kanye West is pleading with girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner to stop having plastic surgery because he’s afraid she’ll end up dead like his own beloved mother,” reports the National Enquirer.

In 2007, the rapper’s mom, Donda West, died of complications from cosmetic procedures.

The Enquirer claims West is now terrified about losing Jenner to a similar fate.

According to the tabloid, friends and family of the Kardashian matriarch “fear that she will go overboard with her nip-and-tuck operations,” and West is supposedly more upset than anyone.

“She’s become like a second mom to him, and he couldn’t bear losing another person in his life to plastic surgery,” explains a so-called “close source.”

The magazine treats Jenner as though she’s going off the rails with procedures, even though it offers no evidence for any excessive plastic surgery beyond “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” footage that shows Jenner waking up with a swollen lip.

Nevertheless, the Enquirer writes, “It’s threatening to take over her life. Her family and friends — especially Kanye — are worried sick.”

Uh-huh.

While we have no doubt Jenner’s family (and West) want her to be healthy, the Enquirer’s the one going “overboard” with dire proclamations about Jenner’s safety and West’s concern.

West was devastated by Donda’s death, but only the Enquirer — not the rapper — draws comparisons between that tragedy and Jenner’s situation.

A source close to the family assures Gossip Cop the tale of widespread alarm among Jenner’s loved ones is “NOT true.”
