Kris Jenner On Kanye West: I’ll “Never Replace” His Mom Donda (PHOTO)
As Gossip Cop reported, Jenner celebrated several of her children individually for the holiday, writing posts about Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Rob Kardashian, and pseudo-son-in-law Scott Disick. Strangely, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian did not receive their own posts, even though each daughter shared their own special messages for the matriarch. But after initially leaving West out, too, Jenner returned to Instagram to praise her son-in-law.
“And of course I’m thankful for this love bug #KanyeWest who has been a constant in our lives and showered us with unconditional love, support, kindness, friendship, and lots and lots more love…i learn something new from him every single day,” wrote Jenner. She continued, “I will never replace his beloved Mom Donda but I will always be here for him and love him like my own son…<3<3<3<3,” and added the hashtags, “#blessed #grateful #mothersday #family #memories #bestdaddyever.”
On Friday, Gossip Cop exclusively corrected a false MediaTakeOut story that wrongly claimed West was leaving Roc Nation and making Jenner his momager. The music star’s rep told us it was untrue. That said, Jenner and West do have a tight bond, and were together at Los Angeles’ Wango Tango on Saturday.
The performer’s mother, Donda, died in 2007 from surgery complications. The two were extremely close prior to her unexpected death, and her passing left West devastated. Earlier this year, he released the emotional song “Only One,” which was written from the perspective of Donda looking down on him and North from heaven.
Since marrying Kim nearly a year ago, West has taken to calling Jenner “mom.” And following the release of his Time “Most Influential” cover last month, Jenner wrote on Instagram that she was a “proud mama.” What do you think of Jenner’s Mother’s Day post about West?
