Kris Jenner NOT “Becky With The Good Hair,” Despite Report
Kris Jenner is NOT Jay Z’s “other woman,” nor is she the subject of Beyonce’s famous lyric, “Becky with the good hair,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to the Daily Mail, Beyonce’s famous lyric from the track, “Sorry,” was written about Jenner. The tabloid quotes Hollywood hairstylist Anthony Pazos as saying, “The rumors while we were working were that the one line, ‘Becky with the good hair,’ is Kris Jenner.” “Kris does have good hair and ‘Becky’ always refers to a white woman in the African American community,” adds the paper’s source.
The outlet further alleges that Jay Z developed a close relationship with Jenner through Kanye West, and considering her “taste for younger men,” contends the tabloid, it’s “no wonder” she was considered a threat. “The funny thing about it is that no one believes that,” says Pazos because Jenner’s older, “but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense.”
It makes no sense, and no one should believe it. And it’s important to note that Pazos never confirmed the outlandish claim. Even he called it “rumors.” Of course, that didn’t stop the Daily Mail for one second from publishing this absurd allegation, without one shred of proof.
Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Jenner, who assures us the newpaper’s article is “not true.” Beyonce’s lyric is not about Jenner, and any claims suggesting otherwise are completely false. Maybe it’s time for the tabloid to find better sources than a hairstylist dishing “rumors.”
