Kris Jenner “Gains 50 Pounds” Claim Not True
Kris Jenner is not suffering from a 50-pound weight gain, despite a mean-spirited tabloid story. Gossip Cop can bust the misleading report.
According to In Touch, Jenner is in “panic mode.” While she supposedly “used to be a control freak when it came to her exercise regimen, it’s alleged the momager has slacked off. “She keeps gaining weight,” a so-called “source” asserts, claiming Jenner and boyfriend Corey Gamble “often stay up late watching TV and binge-eating takeout food. They also sleep in instead of hitting the gym.”
To support its contentions, the tabloid quotes a doctor who has never treated Jenner, let alone met her, as guessing the Kardashian matriarch has “gone from 140 pounds to around 190 pounds.” This medical professional, of course, is basing this estimate only on photos, which isn’t a very professional thing to do. In fact, the side-by-side comparison the magazine offers is actually disingenuous, since one photo shows Jenner straight-on, while the other is an awkward side angle.
Still, the outlet goes on to claim Jenner is blaming Gamble for her alleged weight gain. “She says he’s the reason she has let herself go, because he’s an enabler,” the alleged tipster says. “They’ve been arguing nonstop over it. She hates feeling fat. She knows she needs to get her act together.”
If only In Touch got its own act together when it comes to respectable and reliable journalism. It always strikes Gossip Cop as bizarre when the tabloids pass judgment on a celebrity’s weight, but even more so when that judgment is so obviously wrong. That’s Jenner pictured above just last month, appearing as trim as ever.
It’s clear she’s not suffering from any kind of weight gain problem. Nor was she dealing with such an issue last fall when Gossip Cop busted the publication for falsely claiming Jenner wanted a weight loss endorsement deal. The tabloid is just overstuffed with falsities.
