Kris Humphries Did NOT Call Kim Kardashian GQ Cover “Scrumptious”
In one of their so-called “exclusives” (ahem), HollywoodLife blares, “Kris Humphries Gushing Over Kim Kardashian’s Sexy GQ Cover — She’s ‘Scrumptious.'” The accompanying story states, “Everyone has an opinion on Kim Kardashian’s new GQ cover, including her ex-husband Kris Humphries. The NBA star has some unbelievable things to say about his former wife of 72-days.” It goes on, “Kris probably wishes he could have stuck it out with Kim longer than the 72 days they were married. The NBA stud was shocked and surprised to see Kim looking flawless on the magazine cover and instantly became obsessed with the reality star all over again.”
A supposed “source” close to Humphries is quoted as saying, “Damn. Just damn. Kris is kicking himself because Kim is sexy as f**k in her GQ cover and pictures. To him, she’s stacked taller and looks more scrumptious than IHOP’s double blueberry pancakes.” Yes, that’s a quote HollywoodLies wants readers to believe is real.
The alleged snitch goes on, “He’s loving everything about Kim’s spread. Looking at those pics is making him day dream about being with her again. And even though he and Kim aren’t on the best of terms, he’s still admiring her body — just from a distance.”
The site also opines, “Kanye West probably isn’t going to like this.” Well, he SHOULDN’T like a story about his wife and her ex-husband that was manufactured to capitalize on Kardashian’s GQ photos and score web traffic. Because that’s exactly what’s going on here.
There’s no love lost between Kardashian and Humphries, who have made their ill-will towards each other perfectly clear since their infamous split. The NBA player isn’t suddenly “gushing” over new photos of his ex, particularly ones that are pretty much no different than countless other shoots she’s done in recent years. And no, he did not compare Kardashian to blueberry pancakes.
But Gossip Cop isn’t surprised HollywoodLife got a Humphries tale all wrong. Back in 2012, the webloid ran an “exclusive” (ahem, again) about the athlete going on a “mystery date” for Valentine’s Day. Gossip Cop exclusively revealed he was actually out with his publicist and his assistant. Clearly, the outlet’s “reporting” (and we use that term loosely) has not gotten better with time.
