The Kardashian-Jenner clan has been in a state of flux since Bruce and Kris Jenner split, but Kourtney Kardashian says everyone will always be family.

“We will all always be close. We have all been in each others’ lives for as long as I can remember and we’ve been through so much together, so I feel like that will never change even though certain dynamics change,” Kourtney told Wonderwall during a Las Vegas party on Saturday.

Kourtney went on to say, “Even though Bruce and my mom are friends, it’s an adjustment. Their lives are changing, their relationship changes, but I think we all have to make an effort to stay in each others’ lives.” In fact, that the family’s changing dynamic was actually one of the main storylines on last weekend’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” season premiere.

As Gossip Cop reported, the episode featured Bruce admitting he felt separated from the family in the wake of his divorce from Kris, and he said he wanted to keep the Jenner and Kardashian sides together. Later in the show, Kim Kardashian confronted him about spending time with one of Kris’ good friends, and Kris called Bruce an “a**hole.”

Of course, things have changed even more since those scenes were filmed last year. Kris has been dating Corey Gamble, a topic that will play out on Sunday’s new episode of “KUWTK,” and Bruce is now transitioning into a woman, something the family has not directly discussed in interviews but spoken around, much as Kourtney seems to be doing here. As Gossip Cop reported, Us Weekly retracted a story last week after falsely claiming Kendall Jenner had broken her silence on her father’s transition. Gossip Cop exclusively confirmed that the quotes were fabricated.

Kourtney’s comments come after that debacle, and a series of People stories that said she, Kim, and Khloe were the last to know about Bruce’s transition plans, and that while the divorce led family members to take sides, “Bruce’s decision to share his transition has caused an even greater divide.” Sources further told the outlet that “there were weeks when [the three stepdaughters] didn’t hear from Bruce.”

That said, the women are said to be supportive of Bruce, and committed to remaining a part of his life. That seems to be what Kourtney herself is now saying. Gossip Cop will continue to have updates.
