Kirsten Dunst: Brad Pitt Was My First Kiss, And I Hated It (VIDEO)
Kirsten Dunst’s first kiss was Brad Pitt. It came when she was 11 years old and filming Interview with the Vampire. But on Tuesday’s “Conan,” Dunst explained that at the time it wasn’t quite the exciting moment you’d expect.
The actress also revealed the weird place where she had her first off-screen kiss. Who would have thought Dunst’s iconic upside-down kiss with Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man would be only her third most interesting kiss?
Interview with the Vampire was released in 1994, relatively early on in both Dunst and Pitt’s careers. Also starring Tom Cruise, Christian Slater and Antonio Banderas, the movie was about Pitt and Cruise’s vampire characters turning Dunst into a vampiress. Dunst went on to score a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The film also garnered two non-acting Academy Award nominations, for art direction and original score.
Professionally, Dunst has since gone on to hits like the Spider-Man franchise, and personally, she’s had relationships with Jake Gyllenhaal and, currently, Garrett Hedlund. Pitt, of course, is now wed to Angelina Jolie, and won an Oscar for producting 12 Years A Slave earlier this year.
