Kim Zolciak: Wendy Williams Is “Disgusting” For Saying I “Faked” Stroke
Kim Zolciak is calling Wendy Williams “disgusting” and “appalling” for implying the “Dancing With The Stars” contestant may be “fibbing” about the stroke she suffered last Wednesday, all in an effort to get sympathy votes. Zolciak blasted Williams for insinuating she “faked” the stroke.
On her talk show on Monday, Williams said about Zolciak, “To me, a stroke is more important than a selfie. I don’t get where these people get, you know, posting pictures of a serious condition in the hospital.” The talk show host added that Zolciak “allegedly suffered a mini-stroke after returning home from ‘Dancing With The Stars’ last week. Now, Kim is 37 years old and, you know, she’s got six children. She looks terrific… but, Kim, my thought is… I hope you’re not fibbing about the stroke.”
After noting that she herself “wanted to get off” of “Dancing With The Stars” when she competed a few years ago, Williams said, “Kim, at 37 years old, if you did have a mini stroke, I’m sorry to hear about that. If, however, you just wanted to get off ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ all you had to do was just stub your toe.”
Zolciak, not surprisingly, was infuriated at the implication that she didn’t really have a stroke and wrote on Instagram, “Absolutely appalling!! @wendywilliams how disgusting for you to insinuate I ‘faked’ my mini stroke on your show this morning!” “You mad cause I didn’t come on your show! This clearly shows your warped mentality,” added the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, who also posted a screenshot of a recent email from a “Wendy Williams Show” staffer to her rep, asking that Zolciak appear on the show via Skype (see below).
As Gossip Cop previously noted, after returning to Atlanta on Wednesday from “Dancing With The Stars” rehearsals in L.A., Zolciak had a mini-stroke that caused her to temporarily lose sensation on the left side of her body and rendered her unable to speak. She fortunately regained all her faculties, and on Sunday said in a statement, “I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days.”
While she hasn’t fared well on Season 21 of “Dancing With The Stars,” Zolciak said in her statement, “I can’t express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing.”
Williams has not responded to Zolciak slamming her on Instagram as “disgusting” and “appalling.”
