Kim Zolciak Not Appearing On Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” Following Stroke
Kim Zolciak will not appear in person on Monday night’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars” because the reality star is still in Atlanta recovering from the stroke she suffered last week. Zolciak will, however, make an appearance via FaceTime.
As Gossip Cop reported, the “Real Housewives” star revealed that she lost her speech, as well as sensation on the left side of her body, as a result of her stroke. But in a statement released on Friday, Zolciak said that she had been released from the hospital following a procedure, and was recuperating at home. The reality star also expressed hope on Sunday that her medical emergency would “not be the end of [her] dancing.”
Zolciak’s doctors, however, have advised she avoid travel and strenuous activities for the time being, which is why she reportedly won’t be on Monday’s show.
The news of Zolciak’s absence from Monday’s show comes just hours after talk show host Wendy Williams implied that the reality star may be “fibbing” about her stroke in an effort to get sympathy votes on “Dancing With The Stars.” In response, Zolciak called Williams “disgusting” and “appalling” for suggesting that she “faked” a stroke.
Zolciak’s future on “Dancing With The Stars” remains unknown at this time. Gossip Cop has reached out to reps for both Zolciak and the dance competition show for comment, but has yet to hear back. Tell us what you think about the reality star not participating on Monday’s episode.
