Kim Kardashian NOT “Freaking Out” Over Robbery “Inconsistencies,” Despite Report
Kim Kardashian is NOT “freaking out” over supposed “inconsistencies” in her robbery story, despite a report. Gossip Cop can correct the claim, which comes from one of the tabloids.
OK! says in its current edition, “As details about Kim Kardashian’s scary attack emerge, one thing seems clear: They don’t quite add up.” Asking if the robbery was actually a “hoax,” the magazine alleges there’s “gaping holes in the incident.” A so-called “insider” claims, “There are a lot of unanswered questions.”
The outlet wonders how the thieves entered Kardashian’s residence and even why they were allegedly wearing ski masks. It’s further noted there’s “suspicion about the fact that the residence, while ransacked, looked like a staged crime scene.” It’s also claimed Kardashian “decided not to show up for follow-up questions” with the police.
“She’s been freaking out because she realizes her story is riddled with inconsistencies,” a “source” alleges to the publication. That leads OK! to speculate about Kardashian herself potentially going to jail for making false statements about a fake crime. It’s even suggested the reality star orchestrated the stunt to “raise ratings” for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and get a “PR boost,” or perhaps did it as part of an “insurance scam,” because she “might need the cash.”
But Kardashian is not in need of money nor media attention, considering her massive wealth and the obsessive way tabloids like this one follow her every move. More importantly, though, Kardashian is not in danger of going to jail. She left France after being given permission by French authorities, and they have not indicated any reason to doubt her claims.
If Kardashian is “freaking out” about anything, it’s that she was robbed and suffered an extremely traumatic event. She is trusting officials to handle the investigation, and is not fretting about “inconsistencies.” But perhaps outlets like OK! should be worried about putting forth such allegations. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Kardashian has already sued MediaTakeOut for doubting her story, leading the webloid to issue a lengthy apology.
