Kim Kardashian Panicked Over Losing Baby Weight? (PHOTO)
Kim Kardashian is NOT panicked over her baby weight, despite a mean-spirited report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can correct the story, which attempts to body shame the star.
Though Kardashian recently said that she lost 17 pounds less than two weeks after Saint’s birth, In Touch claims the scale hasn’t “budged” since. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Kim is really upset because she isn’t losing the baby weight from Saint as quickly as she did after having North — it’s just not falling off like it did the first time.”
“She’s frustrated because she thought more would come off way faster that it has, and she’s been crying that she’ll never back to her skinny self,” claims the supposed source. Consequently, In Touch says Kardashian is “hiding out,” and her alleged plans for a “big weight-loss reveal in the spring” are now in jeopardy. “She’s worried that she won’t feel confident enough to wear a bikini until the summer,” say the outlet’s tipster.
In Touch goes on to claim Kardashian is “desperately plotting a shortcut,” and may resort to plastic surgery for a “post-pregnancy makeover.” Of course, Gossip Cop has already debunked that allegation multiple times. But that’s not the only thing wrong with this story.
If Kardashian was “hiding out” and so ashamed of her size, as this report implies, then why did she publicly share full-body shots from Christmas? The reality star willingly posted photos that revealed her post-baby body, and she was even wearing a sheer shirt with nothing but a bra underneath (see photo above and below). While there’s no doubt that dropping pounds isn’t easy, if Kardashian was so concerned with her weight and “struggling” as In Touch claims, surely she would’ve kept her current look under wraps.
But the magazine is once again out of touch with reality. That’s hardly surprising, considering this is the same tabloid that announced Kardashian and Kanye West “split” in September. In actuality, they just spent Christmas together, and unlike In Touch, actually have something to celebrate.
