Kim Kardashian: Kris Humphries Divorce Was an “Epiphany” (VIDEO)

Kim Kardashian 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries was not all in vain.

The reality star, appearing in a Kardashian family special of “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” tells Winfrey she’s a “changed person” — for the better — after her divorce from Humphries.

Kardashian reveals, “I feel like I’ve had an epiphany over the last year for what I’ve been through.”

“I’m totally growing up,” she says, explaining that the people she chooses to surround herself with now, post-divorce, are “wiser, a little bit older than me.”

One of those new people is of course her boyfriend, Kanye West.

Kardashian admits, “Before [the divorce]… all my boyfriends were younger, I always dated five years younger.”

Now, she says she “loves that I’m with someone who’s a couple years older than me.”

Winfrey then asks, “Is Kanye West the new fairy tale?”

    Epiphany? The definition is “a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience”…………. so then the divorce is a commonplace occurrence? and that is what caused the epiphany? So because of her epiphany she now knows what………………? Gosh I’m all confused

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t this dumb b***h married to an “older, wiser” guy before. When she was about 18 or 19. Didn’t that end in divorce as well. So obviously older don’t work, younger guys don’t work. Maybe she needs to stop being a whore for a while. She may actually have an “epiphany” than.

    @Tiara yes Kim & Kris are still married but she filed for divorce last October so technically had it been a quicky it should’ve been finalized in April but they’re wrangling over money and crap so it’s taking longer duh. thats like Paul Newman & his first wife Jacqui Whitt got a quicky divorce in Mexico in October 1957 and it was finalized 3 months later in January 1958 infact he was late for his 2nd marriage waiting for the notorized divorce papers. he and his 2nd wife Joanne Woodward were married nearly 51 years when he passed September 26th 2008 aged 83 after a long brave battle with lung cancer. Kim will be 32 in October and she’s already been married & divorced twice. while Woodward was 28 when she got married and was married until 5 months short of her 79th birthday

    I hate to say this, but when I saw the interview, it seems as if Kim is very lost. It’s like she doesn’t know what she wants. I just watched it because I have never watched her on anything before. She seems to be confused.

    Wow so much hate!! Didn’t your mothers teach to love yourselves and others and never be jealous and envious! I really think people are hating on her because she is beautiful and was able to do all these things that people wish they could have!! When you put others down, it’s just a sign of insecurity within yourself! PS if you watched all of the interview she done say she nah care about all dem haters a gwan and chat she business!
