Kim Kardashian did NOT ban Kanye West from her family’s annual Christmas Eve party, despite a report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story, which was seemingly made up.

The false allegation comes from The Sun, which asserts in a headline, “NO ROOM AT THE KIM: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage is ‘over’ as she’s seen WITHOUT her wedding ring and bars him from Christmas bash.” According to the article, “Kim ordered husband Kanye to stay away from her family’s traditional Christmas Eve bash.”

“Her wedding finger was bare on Saturday night as she partied with her mum and sisters at their annual festive gathering in LA,” says the tabloid newspaper. “Troubled rapper Kanye, 39, instead went to the cinema with friends. But he then defied Kim’s warning by making a late appearance at the event. However, she is said to have blanked her husband and insiders last night claimed their two-year marriage is ‘as good as over.'”

A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “It’s looking bleak. She didn’t want Kanye at her mum’s Christmas bash this year, as she felt it was the first time she could really let her hair down. But he made a late show and spent the last hour just sitting on the couch talking to Scott Disick — he was a total wallflower.”

Gossip Cop, however, has exclusively learned this version of events is inaccurate, and The Sun is being dishonest in the way it has presented these claims. The British paper’s original story wrongly claimed West was not at the party at all. It was only after it became apparent that he did, in fact, attend that the outlet updated its article with the quotes about West supposedly “defying” Kardashian’s ban and showing up anyway.

Of course, if the publication had real, legitimate sources, it would have known from the start that West was in attendance, and was actually always expected to be. In fact, Gossip Cop previously busted Celeb Dirty Laundry for erroneously claiming Kardashian was banning West from Christmas celebrations. That was never the case, and now The Sun has been forced to do damage control and cover its butt after spreading fake news.

And, as for Kardashian being seen without her wedding ring, the reality star has quite obviously opted not to wear jewelry since her robbery. The Sun is merely grasping at straws, and its attempt at portraying Kimye as a couple on the brink is transparent.
