Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner Not Fighting Over North West Becoming Child Star, Despite Report
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner are not fighting over North West becoming a child star, despite a wholly made-up report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. We’re exclusively told it’s “false.”
“Kim Sending North In A New Direction,” reads a headline from this week’s National Enquirer. In the accompanying article, it’s claimed Kardashian is “protecting” her 3-year-old daughter from being transformed into a celebrity by her own momager, Kris Jenner. “Kim wants North to have a different life from hers,” says the magazine’s supposed source, explaining, “She doesn’t want her to be a reality star.”
The tabloid’s supposed insider notes that Jenner is a “brilliant businesswoman,” and knows there’s a “lot of money to be made” with young kids in show business. But Kardashian wants her mom to “back off,” contends the publication. The alleged tipster adds that she’s insisted to Jenner it’s “way too early to talk about managers” for the toddler.
Gossip Cop investigated, and a source close to Kardashian tells us the reality star and Jenner are not fighting because the matriarch was not planning on turning her grandchild into a young celebrity. In fact, that was a made-up claim, which Gossip Cop busted, from the same tabloid last fall. At the time, the Enquirer alleged Jenner was convincing Kardashian to make North into a star. Of course, repeating essentially the same untrue story a few months later with an added twist doesn’t make it any less wrong than it was back then. Additionally, a rep for Kardashian exclusively assures us the new report about Kardashian and Jenner fighting over North becoming a child star is 100 percent “false.”
It seems the publication needs new or at least better Kardashian sources. A little more than a week ago, Gossip Cop corrected the publication after it wrongly reported Kardashian was going to retire from TV and quit “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” There was no truth to that article, and the same goes for the latest story, which inaccurately alleges there’s family strife over North.
