Kim Kardashian and Kanye West only went public with their budding relationship last week, but they’re already fighting, reports Star.

What about?

The mag says that the ridiculously wealthy stars are battling over… money.

Seriously.

Specifically, Star claims that Kardashian is worried that West may not be rich enough for her.

A so-called “insider” for the tabloid says that during their recent New York City lunch date, “She kept asking him about his touring revenue, the properties he owns and his savings.”

The rapper supposedly “had to tell her to back off and chill out,” and assure her that “she has nothing to worry about,” claims Star.

But the tabloid’s “sources” say Kardashian “isn’t taking his statement at face value,” and has even “put her team to work investigating his financial health!”

One purported insider explains, “She wants to make sure that Kanye’s worth as much as she thinks,” and only then will she “move forward with the relationship.”

Oh, but that’s not all.

Star’s alleged source goes on to claim that after supposedly hooking up with West for weeks, “Kim is worried she could be pregnant!”

The mag evidences the fact that the reality star “was spotted leaving an L.A. medical building on April 7, deep in thought.”

OK, let’s do a quick recap of the tabloid’s claims.

Despite being incredibly rich in her own right, and having married Kris Humphries, who was considerably less wealthy than West, Kardashian is worried about the rapper’s finances, and won’t commit to him until her team thoroughly investigates his net worth?

And she may “be pregnant” because she went to see a doctor last week?

Uh…

If this story seems a bit far-fetched, that’s because it’s entirely made up.

A Kardashian insider laughed off the mag’s claims, telling Gossip Cop the tab’s tall tales are simply “ridiculous.”

    I guess no one who works at a tabloid ever goes to the doctor or an OB-GYN. It might surprise them that most women go to her OB without being pregnant. Most Kardashian stuff is out there and this is rather amusing. I know the family and Mr. West love publicity and this works right in with the plan, but it is rather funny.

    Well…..perhaps it’s one of those “for the moment” relationships as far as Kanye is concerned (think Kanye and Amber Rose) and Kim is taking things further than necessary because SHE thinks their “relationship” is more than what it is. IF I KNOW Kanye (which of course I do not) he doesn’t strike me as someone who would take the likes of Kim Kardashian home to meet mother…..or more certainly to the alter. He’s had CLASSIER women ( two if I remember correctly) as his fiance’ and none of those unions resulted into a marriage. Thus, with Kim’s PUBLIC track record, the man has to be young and naive, (LIKE HER EX-HUSBAND) who’s too fascinated with her looks and decide not to see her for who and what she is (a confused, whorish, opportunistic figure….O.K. it’s just MY opinion with the label….but the label DOES fit), or some man overseas who does not keep up with the tabloids and such, and really does not know WHO she is. Apart from that, Kim better just lay back (no pun intended…you know what I’m saying ‘-) ) and have fun for what it’s worth. Because the chances of her REALLY landing Kanye (apart from in a bedroom scene) is HIGHLY slim to none.

But for heaven’s sake….it most certainly IS NOT her position to ask a man whom she is very casually dating and VERY MUCH AT THE BEGINNING STAGES (as of now) to inform her of his assets. Frankly assuming this story is the case, she’s by far doing too much too soon in regards to requesting such personal information regarding his finances which I’m afraid spells GOLD-DIGGER….or at best OPPORTUNIST. And frankly dare I say, I most certainly believe that LACK OF MONEY by her twisted standards was the reason why she so abruptly bailed on her last marriage.
