Kim Kardashian Says Jordan Clarkson “Not Famous Enough” To Date Kendall Jenner?
Does Kim Kardashian have a problem with Kendall Jenner and Jordan Clarkson’s romance? A report published Wednesday claims the reality star doesn’t think the NBA player is “famous enough” to date her sister. Gossip Cop looked into the allegation, and here’s what we found out.
According to Life & Style, Kardashian is “firmly against the union” between Jenner and Clarkson. “Kim thinks Jordan isn’t famous enough,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. “He’s a nice guy, but he barely has 150,000 followers on Twitter and she’d never heard of him until Kendall brought him up.”
The magazine’s supposed source goes on to claim Kardashian “told Kendall that dating Jordan isn’t a smart move, and that she should be dating a famous rapper or musician if she wants to gain popularity.” The alleged tipster adds, “Kim worries that Jordan is using Kendall to boost his career.”
But there’s several problems with this story. Jenner and Clarkson have been quietly seeing each other for months, so it’s bizarre that this piece is only coming out now. And during all the time that the young stars have been casually together, they’ve yet to formally attend an event as a couple. That goes directly against the suggestion that Clarkson is “using” the model, because if that was the case, surely he’d be wanting to make joint appearances.
Lastly, Jenner doesn’t need to date a rapper or musician to “gain popularity.” She’s plenty popular already, and this article is making the wrong assumption that she’s desperate for more. Additionally, these allegations are coming from the same outlet that said Jenner was in a “love triangle” with Scott Disick and sister Kylie in May.
Clearly, Life & Style does not have reputable Jenner sources. And that’s true with this new Kardashian story, too. A rep exclusively tells us the tale is completely “false.”
