Kim Kardashian Reacts to Flour Bombing: “That’s Bullying”

(YouTube)

Kim Kardashian responded to being flour-bombed on the red carpet Thursday night.

“It was crazy,” she told “TMZ Live” on Friday.

The reality star said of the incident, which was allegedly the work of an anti-fur activist, “Whatever your beliefs are… that’s bullying.”

Kardashian also felt it’s hypocritical of the woman who attacked her to use violence in protesting violence against animals.

She observes, ”If you’re trying to promote nonviolence towards animals… why are you trying to be violent towards humans?”

And while she told the show, “I don’t think someone like that should get away with those types of actions,” she didn’t press charges because “I didn’t want to hold up the event.”

Kardashian’s family also reacted to the flour-bombing, taking to Twitter to show their support for Kim.

Khloe wrote, “She handled it amazing! What a low to flour bomb someone.” She added in a later tweet, “I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn’t have dared tried a thing.”

Kourtney said, “Classy to flour bomb my sister at her charity event helping women. I wonder if they would have dared thrown the flour at my hormonal and pregnant self!”

Family matriarch Kris Jenner also chimed in, posting on her blog, “I am so proud of my daughter for handling this situation so professionally and with such poise! Kim wasn’t phased by the attack and simply walked away from the red carpet, brushed herself off and headed right back out!!”

We’re still waiting for a gem from Scott Disick.

This wasn’t bullying, this was/is a nutcase that wanted attention.

  • Stopspam

Who’s the attention seeking nutcase? The Kardashians or the flour bomber?

Oh, Kim. You won’t get anyone’s sympathies.

  • No Name

Actually, it is a form of bullying. I’m not a fan of the Kardashian’s but this was wrong.

  • Regina1180

    Your pick.

  • Sindee

Not a Kardashian fan but that was just wrong.

  • Charrmgirl2005

you would think she would be used to having white stuff spill on her

  • Oonie

If she was my sister and I was there, that woman would have been knocked straight on the ground.
Stinking Bully. I want to see who did that. BULLY!!!

  • Anonymous

Fuk that I woulda pressed charges and sued for everything the broke bytch didn’t even have yet

  • Lindsey

Sorry, but i don’t see how throwing flour on someone is violent. I’m still lol’ing at this.

  • Mason3181

I think the whole thing is staged

  • Regina1180

I’m starting to agree with this.

  • Oonie

To even say what they said that woman said and did is violence. That’s like someone hating you and spitting in your face because they know that if they hit you, they would get jail time, so they spit in your face. Violence definitely starts in the mind and results in an action. This was a group of haters involved in this. She didn’t act alone, she just carried out the stupid part. Jealous bit** I want a pic of this bit** I bet she is ugly as shi*

  • Mayhemgirl

OMFG It was FLOUR people, not a bomb. This wouldn’t even rate a fricking eyebrow lift for a normal person, because its a “celeb” we are meant to believe its bullying or assault? Grow a fricking brain. Of course people HATE the Kardashians, they are no talent wanks who squeeze money out of the world by being terrible. I say, next time we throw baking powder. Enough episodes like this we could bake her into something decent. Lets not mistake this for an ACTUAL mistreatment of another human being..and do these dbags NEED any more press?

  • Oonie

YOU GOT TO TO BE KIDDING! HELL, WHERE ARE YOU FROM? IF PEOPLE ACCEPT SOMETHING LIKE THIS, WHERE ARE THEY HEADED?

  • Mayhemgirl

Who paid you to be up Kim’s a$$? Seriously, if you think this person has ANY place in celebrity, I wanna throw stuff at you. So where are YOU at? this is NOT a violent act, its the desperate act of all of us SICK of people being famous for douchebaggery…it is the new anarchy of the world

  • Mayhemgirl

OMG this is bullying? You people seriously need a reality check. OMG my OUTFIT got ruined..someone call 911. WTF EVER!!!! Lets focus on REAL issues in the world, if you people who support Kim would show THIS much passion for real problems the world will be a much better place.

  • roo roo

well……id hardly call it a act of violance……I wish they just threw flour on animals, instead of ripping there skin off while there still alive

  • Anonymous

Maybe Kardashian will stop bullying innocent animals that are tortured and skinned alive so she can wear them on her fat body. She is so self absorbed I’m sure she never considers the feelings of abused people, much less animals. If she is going to flaunt herself in public, she has to be ready for the people who resent her and her exhibitionism. I say right on, I’m with PETA.

  • Snapshot Ready

No body has to pay me to know RIGHT from WRONG. If I go around agreeing with what is wrong, I might as well be a dead person and that I am not. Kim hasn’t bothered anybody. So what if she is an attention getter? She doesn’t get mine because I am in control of that. You people need to stop bullying. She is not in control of anybody. That’s your mind telling you that.

  • alexstorm

Oh that Kim, such a fun girl, and for her to brush is off, yeah, it had to be staged…….. HAD TO!!

Kim doesn’t take easy to anything, and to upstage her, if it wasn’t planned we would have heard her screaming and crying for mommie, she was too calm, but I think I did hear Kim yell, get rid of the cameras.

To stage something like this would be the perfect thing to make her the victim, and get sympathy
Don’t forget, these people have no bottom line, they will do anything for a buck or to stay relevant

    AND SHE WEARS FUR!!!!!

  • roo roo

she bothers quite alot of people. She is pro skinning animals alive and turning them into her new coat

  • Laarni

Bullying? Oh, I don’t rightly know. Shrug. For years, the public threw tomatoes, rotten egss, cream pies to entertainers, politicians that disgusted them. The woman was being kind to just threw powder. We, the public, have been complaining about the media inundating us with the Kardashian trash and we tried to protest, we tried to tell them enough already. But they still continually assaulted our aesthetism. Don’t tell me to skip and ignore anything to do with them if not interested. Yes I did, but when you go to a site or even try to read something, and the first picture or heading was this trash, you feel like grabbing and shaking someone. Enough already.

It is YOU who needs th4e reality check. I absolutely HATE the Kardashian’s and dont think they deserve all the stardom they claim however i am not about to say that something like that is ok just because you dislike someone. She may not have been harmed physically but this is indeed a form of bullying its called HUMILIATION. Are you now going to say that it is ok for kids to humiliate someone just because they dont like them???? If this is accepted in the media world what do you think will happen at schools and parks, where does a line get drawn? If you condone this behavior you condone bullying in the rest of the world.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=685264999 Bec Brockie

When did 2 wrongs all of a sudden make a right??

  • LadyK

You made me spit my drink on my screen. That was the single most brilliant thing I have heard in this matter!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=685264999 Bec Brockie

Ill say the same to you as i said to Mayhemgirl.

It is haters like you that keep her in the spotlight because she is a controversial celebrity. She is not in the headlines for any good reasons, its only controversy surrounding her that the media shows to keep all you haters happy. When i see something to do with her ina headline i just say to myself here we go again and keep on moving.

  • Laarni

Do you have difficulty in understanding what I tried to say? I don’t hate them, but I couldn’t be bothered with them, why I ignored them. Only reason I am on this board was because of the incident. And, please, don’t try to sound as the holier one, when in fact, the only reason you would reply to a comment is to point out how nasty the comment and to lambast the writer. Now, shame on you. Aren’t you the nasty one? Try to comment objectively on your own!!!!!!!!!

  • Snapshot Ready

Let me advise PETA to GO TO THE PERSON or make an appointment to TALK to people rather than showing ignorance and result to violent behavior. Yes, that’s violence. Just suppose that flour went to her lungs. I advise Kim to get her lungs checked. Suppose something hit them in the eye/s. This organization has resulted in cursing people out and even throwing things at them. Then when the person gets arrested they claim that they had nothing to do with it, then show/say their little warning. How intelligent! They are taking the law into their own hands. I can’t stand this organization. They don’t know how to treat human beings, the highest form of animals. That’s not stopping people from buying furs because where I live people are always buying furs. I don’t buy them personally because I never cared for them, but if I did PETA wouldn’t stop me.

  • Ahahha

    Good job flour thrower!

“Bullying? Oh, I don’t rightly know. Shrug. For years, the public threw tomatoes, rotten egss, cream pies to entertainers, politicians that disgusted them. The woman was being kind to just threw powder.” these are your words are they not???? Thank you for thinking you know me but the reason i replied to the comment is that i believe behavior like this being condoned or laughed at or even shrugged off is part of the reason there is a bullying problem worlwide. What exactly are we teaching our kids? that 2 wrongs make a right? dont like someone voicing thier opinion contrary to yours dont comment on the boards simple.

  • guest

    it makes a left! lol

  • for sure

I think they she and her mother and pr team knew about it! 1. it was like she was waiting for something 2. mom never came back – if her mother didn’t know it was going to happen you bet she would have checked on Kim. 3. she is not pressing charges!

  • Vicky

You still can’t go around throwing shit on people. They know who to pick on, I waiting for them to target the wrong person and get their a$$ handed to them. It is just a matter of time. Then who is in the wrong? I hate fur coats but I don’t attack people.

  • Snapshot Ready

Kim isn’t doing anything but living her life the way she sees fit. You have no control over that because she is not breaking the law.

  • Vicky

You tell her Bec Brockie…hear hear!

Bullying is nothing compared to what’s done to animals on Chinese fur farms (80% of the fur in America’s from China where there are no regulations)

    watch “Skin Trade”

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=685264999 Bec Brockie

pr stunt or not, it portrays bullying to be ok if its not physical.

  • roo roo

well in math two negatives make a positive

  • roo roo

iv watched the slaughter on those Chinese fur farms…….it was horrific! it makes the ‘saw’ movies look like childrens films.

I think some people are ignorent in what happens to animals to get there coat, but its hard to be ignorent when there is so much information and media on it, so they just must not care :/

  • Anonymous

I don’t watch reality television, and as humans the Kardarshians are examples of the worst sorts of shallow and self absorbed behaivor. Not a fan and won’t ever be a fan.

That being said, it is bullying to throw things at people for any purpose, including political ones and it’s downright lame. I’ve always wondered as a mother who is always in the meat section of the local grocery store, why no one throws crap at me while I’m sorting through refrigerated chicken parts trying to buy something for dinner. Not so Hollywood, eh.

Because Kardashian is far less likely to throw something BACK while on the red carpet in five inch heels with cameras rolling. Your average Joe would protect themselves from a perceived attack while pressing charges with the cops. I imagine that getting boned by a package of chicken thighs would sting a little.

Not into wearing fur, but I don’t look at people who wear it as dangerous, just that most are clueless . How ‘smart’ is it to expect those whose entire persona is about what they do in a fashion sense, to understand the concept of humanely killing animals for clothing? When one isn’t an intellectual, this could be quite a challege.

This action is merely about control. It’s an immature tantrum. Oh you bad Kardashian, you’re not living life the way that *I* think that you should! Instead of creating compelling reasons not to do it, the PETA types chuck crap, and call it animal rights statement. When the reality is, they just don’t have the capacity to have real conversations without breaking down from the frustration. So they say and do outrageous things. And all of the while, completely ignoring the place of homo sapiens on the food chain. Like we don’t exist at all.

No one is going to listen to you when you act out, yell and don’t act rationally. And when you ignore human beings, human beings get annoyed.

I would never support PETA, they lost any sort of credibility when they were more worried about Arafat strapping bombs to donkeys than they were about people getting blown up. That level of myopia isn’t very deep, either.

  • iyanna

yeah, if it was a normal person they woldnt give a shit. i find this whole thing hilarious.if she thinks somebody throwing flour on her is wrong then why cant she see that skinning animals alive just so that she can wear a fancy coat is wrong too. oh pls. i dont think the woman wanted attention, i think she just wanted to get her message through since nothing else was working. kim’s head is too thick . lmao

  • LOL

Next time, throw some flour, couple of eggs, vanilla, sugar, etc. Bake her up & sell her off into parts. Maybe THEN we will finally be rid of her.

  • Xenobyte

She wears fur? – Of course she does! – That’s what stylish people do.

And – here’s the kicker – humans have been wearing fur since before we could make fire! – It’s one of the oldest ‘products’ ever. Nothing wrong with that.

  • Xenobyte

There’s only one loser among you two – and it ain’t Oonie.

Are you just a troll or do you actually have a reason for thinking (and expressing) that you approve of the antics by this deranged flour-throwing woman?

  • Ahahha

    SHUT UP STUPID FUCKER

  • cherri

To tell the truth bullying or not I am sorry it was not thrown into her lying slutty face,…………

  • Jwalterx3

    Wrong but funny.

  • Jennifer

Yep. It’s bullying and it’s legally assault. And it’s on tape. I think she should have the woman arrested and prosecute her. Maybe it will save someone else a little grief from a similar situation further down the road. One can hope…

  • Jennifer

Unless it happened to you, of course. Bet it would not strike you as humorous then. Bet you would be upset, angry, hurt and wondering who is going to pay for the damage to your clothes, your jewelry (very difficult to get grit out of settings and it’s hell on expensive watch movements), who is going to pay for the costs to clean up the venue, your event costs, etc., etc., etc. You would not be lol’ing when you were on the phone with your insurance company trying to figure out what’s covered and what’s not. You’d also be embarrassed from a business standpoint because most of the guests there were your prospective corporate customers like Macys, Saks, Neimans, etc. Lots of damage control around that. Many man hours of time to “mop up” after the fact. Plus having to discuss it in the press, etc. Everybody wants a comment, blah blah… As a business woman, I would be LIVID and looking to squeeze every last thin dime out of that stupid girl with the flour. Believe it.

  • Jennifer

I think you might be mentally challenged. Certainly, you are morally challenged. Didn’t you learn (if not at your Momma’s knee, surely at school) that you do NOT assault people? It is unacceptable to bully people? Just because she is a celeb doesn’t mean she has given up her status as a human being with feelings. She didn’t sign up to be your punching bag or anyone elses. If you don’t like these people – don’t watch them, don’t buy their products and DON’T read articles about them LIKE THIS! They do not, by the way, squeeze money out of the world. No one is twisting anyone’s arm to buy their stuff, watch their shows, etc. They have a fan base. You may not be one of them. Fine. Only someone who is terminally jealous of someone else would react in the way you do. Completely over the top. Take a pill and get a life.

  • KnowledgeIsPower

Once again the word “bullying” is being minimized by being thrown around carelessly.
Attention craving famewhores are using that term to describe petty actions against them. Children/teens being tormented daily with acts of psychological and physical torment are bullied. Being doused with flour is messy and embarrassing but bullying… hardly.

  • Vincent90

.It almost appear’s in Kim’s reaction it was an expected attack.
With the threat of anthrax her response should have been more alarming.
Now let’s see if charge’s are pressed or if the whole thing just goes away…Then we will have our answer on staging.
Because that is serious and if not staged Kim should make an example out this so next time someone throw’s something whatever it is they will be accountable.

  • Anonymous

It might have been bullying, but it was certainly hysterical.
