Kim Kardashian NOT Eating Non-Stop, Despite Body-Shaming Report (Exclusive)
Kim Kardashian is NOT eating non-stop, despite a report that claims the pregnant star has regained her “enormous appetite” and is “more ravenous than ever.” Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story.
The mean-spirited and body-shaming piece can be found in the new issue of In Touch, under the headline, “Uh-Oh, It’s Happening Again! Kim Can’t Stop Eating.” According to the tabloid, while Kardashian gained a significant amount of weight during her first pregnancy, now her cravings this time around are “even worse.” And despite Kanye West “desperately trying to monitor her habits” and a doctor-ordered “pregnancy diet,” Kardashian is supposedly eating fast food “behind Kanye’s back.”
In Touch fill out its story with tales of Kardashian’s supposed over-eating, and regurgitates cruel observations about Kardashian’s previous weight gain. The magazine even makes note how Kardashian revealed she ate a donut every morning during her first pregnancy, but fails to mention how she’s said she’s NOT doing that this time. That’s because the outlet would rather have a sensational angle than an honest one.
And, really, Kardashian can’t win. When she’s not gaining weight, webloids like MediaTakeOut question whether she’s really pregnant. Now that her belly has popped, In Touch couldn’t wait to remind everyone of how “fat” Kardashian got the last time. And if Kardashian doesn’t end up really packing on the pounds? Well, we fully expect In Touch and its ilk to claim she’s not eating enough and is putting her baby in danger.
Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with Kardashian’s rep, who exclusively tells us that, contrary to In Touch’s claims, Kardashian hasn’t been ordered to follow a special diet all. But she’s also not gorging herself uncontrollably, despite what the tabloid wants readers to believe, and the spokesperson calls the story 100 percent “false”. In Touch ran at least five different body-shaming pieces about Kardashian during her first pregnancy (see covers below). It’s unfortunate the magazine seems to be taking that route again.
