Kim Kardashian Eating Disorder Claim False
Kim Kardashian is not suffering from an eating disorder, despite a report claiming she’s too obsessed with dieting. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story.
Kardashian has openly discussed following the Atkins diet to lose the pregnancy weight she gained while carrying son Saint. He was born in December, and the mom of two has spent the last seven months working on slimming down to get back to her former size. But according to Star, Kardashian’s health-conscious ways have become problematic.
“She’s constantly whining because she’s depriving herself,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. “Her mood swings are so crazy because of her constant cravings.” The magazine adds, though, “What’s more alarming is that Kim may be headed for an eating disorder.”
The supposed source says, “Kim claims she’s being healthy, but her family is very wary of her diet obsession. They fear she’s eating far less than she says she is, and that she’s doing herself harm. Even North has noticed her skimpy salads and says her mommy only eats leaves.”
And yet, Star published some of Kardashian’s photos of her meals, and far from being just “leaves,” they’re substantial foods like salmon and frittatas. Furthermore, this supposed concern is coming from the same tabloid that body-shamed Kardashian nearly a year ago, with a cover story saying she was “ballooning” during her pregnancy. So it seems fat or skinny, big or small, she can’t win.
Kardashian is indeed focused on her body, but what’s the gossip rag’s excuse for its own obsession with her weight? No matter what her size, Star and its ilk have something to say. And in this case, the outlet is saying the wrong thing. A rep for Kardashian exclusively tells Gossip Cop that the alleged eating disorder fears are “false.”
