Kim Kardashian Dumping Kanye West For Someone “With A Lot More Fame”?

Sorry — we just had to get that out before delving into this ridiculously stupid story about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Anyway, OK! reports that Kardashian is planning to dump West because she’s deemed him “too low profile” for her celebrity status.

Yes, you read that correctly.

According to the mag, “Part of the reason getting together with Kanye was so appealing to Kim in the first place was that she thought it would keep her in the limelight.”

But now that the newness of their relationship has worn off, “nobody really cares” about “Kimye,” notes a supposed “insider” for the mag.

The alleged source goes on to claim that Kardashian “has Google alerts on her cellphone, laptop and iPad; if the number goes down, she starts to panic.”

During one of these alleged meltdowns, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star told West she was upset because “Internet searches for her name are down since she began dating him,” says the insider.

Now, writes the tab, the rapper is “frantically trying to keep the couple in the headlines” so that Kardashian won’t dump him.

But is he too late?

OK!’s “source” says Kardashian has “already set her sites on someone with a higher profile.”

That same purported insider claims, “Kim has a crush on Tim Tebow, but he shot her down,” adding, “She has also said she thought Nick Jonas is really cute. She definitely has some options!”

Wow.

Just… wow.

Did OK! give this story to a foreign correspondent who is not familiar with American pop culture?

Because we’re fairly certain that Kanye West, who’s close friends with Beyonce and Jay-Z, has a “higher profile” than Tebow.

And Nick Jonas is only 19 years old!

Also, Kardashian’s soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries was completely unknown outside of basketball circles until she married him.

Oh, and one more thing: The fact that the tabloid is writing about Kardashian and West’s relationship shows that it thinks people still do care about “Kimye.”

Regardless, a source who actually knows the couple calls the story “bulls**t.”

Perhaps OK! could raise its profile by reporting a few accurate stories for a change.
