Kim Kardashian Insists She “Married for Love” But Got “Caught Up in the Hoopla”

Kim Kardashian has taken to her blog to shoot down reports that her marriage was a sham, and that she profited from her wedding.

The reality star writes, “I married for love,” adding, “I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it’s who I am!”

She further reasons, “We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments. These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are.”

Kardashian goes on to explain her hasty nuptials, and admits to being “caught up with the hoopla” as a reason for why it flamed out so quickly.

“Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon,” she now realizes.

Kardashian says, “I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.”

She notes that she “never had the intention of hurting anybody.”

Kardashian writes, “I’m being honest here and I hope you respect my courage because this isn’t easy to go through. But I do know that I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.”

And the reality star confronts rumors that she profited from the wedding.

“There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding,” she writes. “These reports are simply not true.”

In fact, as a thank you to everyone who attended her wedding and gave presents, Kardashian says, “I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.”

Kardashian concludes, “I’m sorry if I have hurt anyone, but my dad always told me to follow my heart I believe now that I really am.”

    Courage? Give me a break. People get divorced every day in this country. Courage would be trying to make your marriage work in spite of the cameras.

    What she’s doing now is damage control. My guess is that these two were miserable from the word go and she just pulled the plug on the marriage earlier than scheduled.

    I really hope that this opens the eyes of the millions of sheep that watch this family on their “reality shows” and they stop giving them attention.

In the beginning she claims that she wouldn’t have gotten married just for a TV show, and then later in the blog, she states that she got “caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show, and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.     With all the cash problems going on throughout the world and common needs being harder and harder to be met, I cannot understand why theses peoples heads arnt on on a stick! They are true wastes of space in every way and contribute nothing to the overall good in our world. Look my dream of being a huge success in singing came finally get a contract with Epic Records and “Bam” wasn’t feeling well went to the doctors or should I say rushed to hospital to hear you have cancer and had to be operated on that evening I cried like a babie was mad @ my higher power when told I had 3 to 6 months to live and woke up to hear we got it all was better than the record deal and what ever is suppose to happen from here well whom knows Cancer free is the best gift another chance at living for he my lord choosed to save me!! What could possibly go so horribly wrong in 3 months that would amount to “irreconcilable differences”? His intentions to leave LA and settle down in Minnesota, which were made PERFECTLY clear before the wedding? I bet if he’d said NYC or Miami, she wouldn’t have cared about leaving. But alas, there are no flashing lights, no runways or glamorous industry parties in Minnesota. So, I guess in her world that alone is enough to be considered “irreconcilable”. Smh…

When our father passed away some of my siblings did things they would have never done when he was around.     I don’t think she ever really loved him. I’d like to think that he sensed that but his immaturity is what prompted him to force her hand. Hell, he had some time to kill over the summer (lockout) and I think he enjoyed the attention too, I mean Kris definitely appeared to be frequently playing to the camera. At times I suspected he was trying to prove to the audience that he could not be controlled or whipped. Sometimes even came across as rude or unfeeling. I didn’t see much of the show but from what I did see, her body language spoke volumes. She let him pick her up from time to time when it suited the situation and for the cameras but she was awfully quick to climb off of him and limit kisses to pecks. I think the show prolly would have been much better, and she would get more respect if she had just called things off before it turned into a circus. Let us see THAT reality. She would have seemed less like a spoiled attention whore and more like the responsible business woman she wants to be seen as.

    It would be great if that was the case, but there are a lot of people who still like to hear about her and her BS, and learn about her. She even has 10 million people following her on Twitter. People care about what she does because people are really curious and gossipy, it’s human nature, and this woman is fulfiling their curiosity, because she doesn’t hide any information about her life. I believe America won’t get over her, and not just America. People will just continue being gossipy about her because she gives them that privilege and she is thoroughly enjoying it.

    Kelleighjaye, Kim is the one who brought up that her father always told her to follow her heart. CoriGirl1966 is merely saying that her father would have told her to end the relationship if her heart was not with Kris Humphries, well before the wedding!!! Duh, she constantly praises her dad and all the advice he gave her, but never actually acts on any of it. So when she claims to be following her heart as her dad always told her, but is really just doing damage control, then yes, it is a disgrace of her father’s memory. Kim didn’t love Kris at all, she loves herself and money. She is making 30% of all commercials aired during the wedding specials, in all countries and all reruns. Most of her wedding was sponsored, therefore she was and still is making money off the sham. Also, when she claims she married for love, well guess what…love is about trying many things to make a marriage work. It’s about hard work and two ppl, not just one. When she deliberately left Kris out of wedding plans and didn’t even want to take his last name, the world knew that is was a joke. So you can fret all you want Kim and try to convince the world that it wasn’t an easy decision…but WE AREN’T BUYING IT!!!!! You wanted the idea of marriage and Kris wanted a real marriage, so that was why it was sooooo easy to call it quits after 72 days, which is not nearly enough time to say you tried to make it work….Gosh, get the hell over yourself cuz you lost a real man that loved you (although, I still have no idea why)!
