Kim Kardashian Did NOT Make Facebook Return
Kim Kardashian did not return to Facebook, at least not permanently, despite appearances. Gossip Cop can reveal what’s going on.
Late Monday and early Tuesday, three new posts appeared on Kardashian’s Facebook timeline. That led many outlets, including People and Us Weekly, to announce the star had returned to social media for the first time since her robbery in Paris nearly a month ago. The initial post was a picture of Kardashian lounging in a chair while looking at her phone.
“Downtime #LumeeCollab,” read the caption, a reference to her light-up Lumee phone case. The two additional posts appeared to be on behalf of her assistant and sister Kourtney Kardashian, with links to Halloween-related content on the family’s websites. That was enough for it to be said Kardashian had “broken her social media silence,” as Us Weekly put it.
But all three posts have since been deleted, and it seems likely they were published by accident or as a result of a miscommunication with the reality star’s social media team. Gossip Cop has reached out to Kardashian’s rep for clarification. In any case, though, Kardashian has not truly returned to Facebook or any social media at this time.
Gossip Cop also recently busted RadarOnline for falsely claiming Kardashian was “back with shocking messages to fans, including Kimojis that mock the traumatic incident.” As we pointed out, however, Kardashian was not “back” on social media, and the emojis in question were actually old and had nothing to do with her robbery.
