Kim Kardashian Did NOT Convince Kanye West To Use Caitlyn Over Kris Jenner In ‘Famous’ Video, Despite Report
Kim Kardashian did not convince Kanye West to use Caitlyn Jenner over Kris Jenner in his “Famous” video, despite a new made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this. We’re told the entire claim is “false.”
According to the serial fabricators at HollywoodLife, while it’s West’s song, Kardashian pulled the strings “when it came to which Kardashian-Jenners would be cast” for its video. The repeatedly discredited webloid alleges, “Kris Jenner was also slated to appear in the controversial piece, but Kim convinced Kanye not to include” her mother. The unreliable site claims in a so-called “exclusive” that Kardashian impressed upon West that Caitlyn would be a “much better fit.”
The dubious outlet then quotes one of its seemingly manufactured sources saying, “In early planning stages of the video, Kanye was considering, with the help of Kim, what family members would be great for the video… Kanye mentioned Kris as well as any of the other sisters.” The same specious “insider” adds that Kardashian felt “any other sisters next to her and Kanye would be gross,” and swayed West into choosing Caitlyn because she would have the “most shock value.” And to make it seem legitimate, the bogus blog inserted a photo of Caitlyn and Kris Jenner over a still from the “Famous” video to convey it was between the two former spouses who would included in West’s video.
Here is what’s really going on. West made a controversial video in which he and Kardashian can be seen laying in a bed next to the nude likenesses of Caitlyn, Taylor Swift, Donald Trump, Rihanna, Chris Brown, George W. Bush, Amber Rose, Bill Cosby, Anna Wintour, and Ray J. HollywoodLies then desperately sought unique angles to inject itself into the discussion about the video (as well as get traffic), and so it seemingly did what it always does when there’s a news story: It made up new angles and claims related to it that curiously no other legitimate outlet had or has published.
The newest manufactured angle the webloid spun about West’s “Famous” video was that Kardashian convinced her husband to use a nude figure of Caitlyn over Kris Jenner. Earlier, the disreputable site had the gall to publish another phony report that alleged West considered using nude figures of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in his video. That also was a complete and total lie, and West’s own rep even told Gossip Cop that HollywoodLife concocted the entire story.
This time around, since the webloid alleged Kardashian “convinced” West “which family members to cast for the “Famous” video, Gossip Cop went straight to the reality star’s rep to see if the site had also wholly manufactured that claim, too. Not surprisingly we found out HollywoodLies similarly made up that West was debating whether to use Kris or Caitlyn’s likeness for the “Famous” video, and that Kardashian told her husband to use the former Olympian instead. Kardashian’s spokesperson exclusively tells Gossip Cop the claim is 100 percent “false.”
It should be noted that none of the top music trades, which cover West on a near daily basis and have excellent sources connected to the rapper, published the allegations made by HollywoodLies. Nor did any of the reputable celebrity news sites or publications. The only thing that’s verifiably “exclusive” about the webloid’s story is that it was exclusively fabricated.
