Kim Kardashian Forced to Choose Between Kanye West and Kris Jenner?

OK!’s relentless war on facts-based reporting continues this week with a cover story insisting Kanye West and Kris Jenner are battling for control over Kim Kardashian.

The magazine says the reality TV star is being forced to choose between her boyfriend and her mom.

According to the tabloid, West and Jenner both want to “control her life and career — which, after all, are essentially one and the same.”

“Kris feels a certain sense of ownership over Kim’s brand and who can blame her?” asks a so-called “insider” for the mag. “But Kanye can’t stand it when she meddles in Kim’s life, and especially in their relationship.”

The OK! source adds, “When he and Kim get in a fight, Kris will actually call Kanye and tell him if she thinks he’s being out of line.”

“Poor Kim is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She’s been begging Kanye not to make her choose between him and her mom but so far he’s not backing down,” reports the outlet’s insider. “She’s so in love with Kanye but at the same time she’s fiercely loyal to Kris. And while Kris wants Kim to be happy she’s not going to let Kanye just push her out.”

The mag’s source says “it’s getting pretty nasty.”

How nasty?

Well, OK! says there have been “flare-ups” between West and Jenner, with the two allegedly bickering often.

Jenner and West also supposedly have different visions for Kardashian’s future, with the rapper interested in reinventing her as an actress and singer, and even allegedly butting heads with Jenner over Kardashian’s fashion choices.

OK! says the drama “seemed headed for a showdown right in the middle of the Christmas season.”

“It’s so unfortunate because Christmas is Kim’s favorite time of year and she was so excited to have Kanye with her,” explains the tab’s insider.

This. Is. ABSURD.

If OK! stopped incessantly printing sensationalized claptrap about the couple, the magazine wouldn’t be embarrassed like it is today, with a bogus “Kris vs. Kanye” story hitting newsstands right after the two enjoyed a Clippers game together… on Christmas.

But the magazine’s sense of shame with the family seems to have disappeared — along with legitimate sources — long ago.

There is NO great war being waged between West and Jenner over Kardashian.

A source close to the Kardashians tells Gossip Cop the story is 100 percent “false.”
