Kim Kardashian Slams “Ridiculous” Bret Lockett Cheating Claim, Might Sue

Kim Kardashian is furious with a tabloid’s bogus claim that she was “caught cheating” with NFL player Bret Lockett.

In a cover story that hit newsstands this morning, In Touch alleges that Kardashian had a “5-month affair” with Lockett behind her fiancé Kris Humphries‘ back.

The magazine prints “sexy texts” purported to be between Kardashian and Lockett, who is quoted as saying she “pursued” him after his brother allegedly introduced them. Their supposed communication also included phone sex and a naked photo.

Even though the two never met up in person (according to In Touch‘s version of events), the “secret fling” and “hush-hush connection” continued even after Kardashian and Humphries became serious.

Except none of it actually happened.

One major red flag?

In Touch prints the alleged “sexy texts” word for word “according to a friend who saw the texts,” even though the tabloid interviewed Lockett himself. Why wouldn’t Lockett just share the texts with In Touch?

Answer: There were no messages.

“The story is 100% not true. It’s ridiculous,” a rep for Kardashian tells Gossip Cop. “She doesn’t even KNOW him!”

Kardashian is so incensed by In Touch‘s fiction, the rep tells Gossip Cop she’s considering legal action against both the magazine and Lockett.

    I doubt she’d cheat on Kris and for this man to just lie like that for publicity, she needs to sue.
    This won’t be the last magazine to say something negative, now that she’s getting married they will make up the most ridiculous stories. Like they did with Khloe when her and Lamar were married.

    And in regards to the article…just because someone doesn’t have the texts on their phone, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Texts can be deleted – in case you weren’t aware.

But on her way up to fame, who has she talked down about? Who has she hurt? No one! This loser is trying to hurt not only Kim, but her fiance and both of their families. PATHETIC!     He went on TMZ and couldn’t say where he met her at…he kept saying that it was irrelevant and that whatever happened between him & Kim, stayed there. Sounds suspicious if he filled in the blanks for In Touch, then how would he have a problem explaining the whole story again? He sounded confident that he would prove his “relationship” if it ever went to court, but he wasn’t about disclose anything. He sounds like a liar & he wants his name out out there for being associated with her. But why didn’t anyone find out about this 5 months ago if in fact they did meet up? I’m sure it would have been all in the tabloids
