Kim Kardashian is not battling an “incurable butt disease,” despite a fake news story. Gossip Cop has gotten to the bottom of this phony tail, er, tale. We’re told a tabloid’s story about Kardashian’s tush is “false.”

According to the sensational (and not in a good way) National Enquirer, Kardashian’s round rearend is diseased, and it could “lead to her lower limbs exploding in a bloated mass of fat.” The magazine claims Kardashian may be suffering from a “horrifying syndrome called lipedema.” And how did the often unreliable supermarket tabloid come to this medical conclusion? It reports it made this diagnosis based on “a revolutionary medical algorithm that analyzed the reality star’s voice.”

So basically, the publication printed a piece that alleges Kardashian’s “bubble butt is going to burst” without any medical examination, but rather from supposed analysis of her voice. Naturally, the owner of the voice technology company is quoted as saying alarmingly, “Kim should take this very seriously.” “It could be life-threatening,” adds the business owner, who has never met Kardashian.

After the magazine explains lipedema is “the accumulation of fluid and fat cells beneath the skin, typically in the buttocks and legs,” it then trots out a doctor, who has also never treated Kardashian and says, “It’s quite common and afflicts as much as 30 percent of American women.” Wait, 30 percent of American woman are battling this “incurable” disease, and there’s never been a telethon or anything like that to save their butts?

The National Enquirer seems to be rather obsessed with the reality star’s posterior. One year ago, Gossip Cop nailed the tabloid when it falsely claimed Kardashian’s butt implants burst. Not only did she never have implant, but her rearend never exploded. Curiously, the latest article runs contrary to the magazine’s article from November 2016 that wrongly maintain Kardashian had butt reduction surgery. And none of those stories align with the outlet’s made-up claim in January that Kardashian got her large butt caught in a toilet seat.

Despite the magazine’s track record of being ass-wrong about the reality star, Gossip Cop still checked in with her rep, and we’re told the new story about Kardashian having lipedema is 100 percent “false.”
