Kim Kardashian: “Shame on You” British Airways After “Taking” Items From Bag

(GettyImages)

Kim Kardashian, who’s back from spending time in Europe with boyfriend Kanye West, is none too pleased with British Airways.

Apparently, some of Kardashian’s valuables have gone missing from her bag.

The reality star tweeted,  ”Very disappointed in British Airways for opening my luggage & taking some special items of mine! Some things are sentimental & not replaceable.”

“What happened to the days when you could lock your bags! We need to get back to that. There’s no sense of security & no trust!” she further wrote before adding, “Shame on you.”

Gossip Cop has reached out to Kardashian’s rep to find out specifically what was supposedly taken.

A rep for British Airways tell us, “We are not aware of any missing luggage.”

Apparently, whatever was in Kardashian’s bag is not the only thing she’s missing.

The reality star also tweeted, “I miss him,” with a link to a photo of West (below).

Airports are known for stealing things.
I remember an article when Backstreet Boys a year ago went to Russia, their performance clothes were stolen by russian customs.
When a radio station was discussing airport stealing after a man took his german shepard to mexican vacation with him and airport “lost” the dog (and never found) one airport worker called and said that some worker most likely liked the dog and decided to keep it.
Then there was call from mechanic who was called to fix airport pipes and when he took them apart, he found it was stuffed full of ladies underwear.
One caller said how he and his wife went from USA to England and when they got to the hotel and opened their luggage there were lots of sex toys added that were not theirs. (Caller said that custom officer probably wanted to play a joke by taking stuff from some sex tourist’s bag and putting it to someone else’s bag, that maybe that person’s partner will get pissed off and gets suspicious. Ha ha)
Then I read an article how some man saved money over 10 years to buy a real Rolex watch to his wife, and when wife went through the airport checkup and had to remove the watch, she said that she dont want to let it out of her sight. She was calmed down and then was called to go through extra search and when she came back. … the watch was missing. She made a big fuss about it and airport workers said that they dont know what she is talking about and she should move on, she is causing trouble. She called the cops and when they arrived, they wanted to see airport security tapes. As it happened the camera that was pointed to that line was only one that was shut off. Watch was never found!
So people, make sure you don’t travel with things you cant afford to loose.

I am always worried about people stealing from my luggage so I bring my important things with me and carry them on in a bag. The people don’t physically search carry ons, they use the monitor so you know it isn’t going to be stolen. It is pretty sad regardless of who or what it is that people are stealing from others. NEVER okay!

“There’s no sense of security & no trust!” yeah because of terrorists, maybe she should just be thankful that she got of the plane in one piece, unlike the hundreds on 9/11. The airports only check your bags to make us safe. I’m not saying that the BA staff should have taken her things, that is immoral and wrong, but at the end of the day, shes safe and alive

  • Linda

While I may not be a big fan of hers, no one deserves to have their stuff stolen. I would never wish that upon anyone. I’ve had things stolen from my luggage. It’s frustrating. So should I have to buy my own jet for that not to happen? I can’t afford a jet! I hope that doesn’t ever happen to you.

  • Vanessa

Weird. When I travel, my suitcases are locked.

  • Eyeroll

The case of Kim K’s missing jewels. Still no word on her dignity.

  • Guest

Has she not heard of TSA locks? I use them and only a special key from TSA can open them. That way if something is missing, you know who took it. Anyway, if she thinks someone at British Ariways is a thief, shouldn’t she be speaking to the officials at British Airways not whining about it on twitter?

  • Chris

Stop your crying….you can get another double ended dildo for you and Kanye at the local smut store.

  • Sheelly

    A) She’s full of crap. B) Of course they go through your bag. You think you’re too special to not have your bags inspected like the rest of us common people?

  • Why so mean?

What you are saying is very mean. Watch and see that you will get all that meanness back to you.

  • lessthansavvy

So, she should be thankful to the tsa/customs agents for “keeping her alive and safe” even though they used their positions to steal from her. Silence gives consent, and had she not openly complained about the agent’s abuse of power she would be condoning and reinforcing their actions. If these agents did steal from her then they are nothing more than petty criminals and should be treated as such. Why should I trust someone to “keep me safe” if they have already violated my trust by stealing from me?

If you people don’t like the Kardashians, don’t watch them…or make comments. Look up your fav stars. Who ever they are…I don’t care…go look them up…leave our KK’s celebs alone!

  • Erika

They now have the authority to still open them. I just traveled to Seattle from Texas. I had both our suitcases with locks. When we got home and open one of them, there was a note inside from the airline stating our suitcase had been opened for a random search. It was locked but they still managed to get in.

  • June

Inspect bags is one thing. Stealing is another.

  • June

You guys are making me sick. Just because she’s a celebrity doesn’t mean people can steal her stuff. I’m sure you would be disappointed too if random people stole some of your things, don’t act like it’s normal just because she’s Kim Kardashian.
    Hypocrite.

  • Regina1180

I travel fairly frequently and I lock my bags every time. BUT I am aware that if the situation calls for it, they are able to cut that lock and search my bag.

Some airline employee probably saw her name on the checked baggage and had at it. Not that I think she deserved it, but if something means that much to you, why not keep it on you? I may lock my bags, but anything of value is with me.

Guess this stuff only happens out of Australia, I get my bag checked pretty often and not once has something been taken or put in my bags. If you had valuable, you wouldn’t put it in your suitcase. You take it on board like a laptop. It’s not that hard.

But still, if people do take things from people’s suitcases. I hope Karma kicks their butts.

  • ScottyL

Eh? British security doesn’t require you to leave your cases unlocked like the US. As bags are screened and only opened if things scanned deemed a risk. Random bag searches are done if your presence. Anyway, why was it British Airways? Surely it’s the transport authorities fault! And why is she not pursuing the matter with the airline involved.. Kim’s attention seeking again methinks!

  • SL

    Or airport employee :)

did her things actually get stolen or was it all just a ploy to have another senseless story written about her the press?

  • Root truth

Was Kanye in the bag? Anything for attention…..

  • Anonymous

Sorry Kim, but the airport security staff just assumed used condoms held no ‘sentimental’ value.

  • Vanessa

I didn’t know that could happen. Interesting as I intend to travel inside the States in the summer. I thought that suitcases could only be open in front of you.

  • Chloe

It is never okay to steal I don’t care who you are stealing from. This has happen to me before…even if you lock your bags, they will break your lock and go through your things. From time to time they take suff and it is a terrible feeling, this happen just way to often.

  • Coriehoran

Not checked items. If they see something weird in your bag when they scan it, they have the right to open it and search them. However, they do leave a note inside saying that they searched it.

  • Jaded28

I recently had TSA take apart a piece of camera gear because they could. The camera gear was destroyed and they don’t have to take any responsibility for it. They blame the airline, the airline blames the TSA. The item ended up costing us $18,000 to replace, because it was unrepairable.
I don’t have any love for Kim K, but I actually like the airlines even less. Especially considering I had to pay over $200 to put the item on the plane.
Maybe it’s gotten to a point that they should have to have security watching the security, and if anything comes up missing it comes out of the paycheck of whomever was on duty that night. Bet stuff stop disappearing.

  • Mimiblair

My question is this, why would you take anything of sentimental value with you out of the country?

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/CX6LQCMKYSSUKZ5OW5YJBC67RM Irma Gettridge

why in the fuck would she travel with valuable items it is getting to be a habit with this girl of taking valuable items with her anywhere she goes..like on the trip with the expensive earring swimming with them and crying like the bitch she is that one was lost.. I am more than sure she had a carry one bag. ……there goes another lawsuit filed by the broke bitch,..,……she needs to stop being so petty.

Some things are sentimental & not replaceable.”

  • Anonymous

Agreed. In Australia all bags are opened and checked in front of you. In fact, you open them yourself and pull out things as the airport person watches. If anything suspicious came up on scans, officials can take it away and check it in another room…eg drugs. And of course confiscate banned items eg food, types of wood. Even then my valuable things are always with me and I travel light.

  • James James

This is a woman who is no better than a street walker, who sells lurid stories and photos to anyone who will publish, who makes money in any way she can, short of actually working in a whorehouse. I dont think she should be treated as a genuine celebrity with any talent, rather as a skank. This is how she got treated. Well what did she expect, a red carpet. And yest, given her moral sense, I suspect she does keep used condoms for sentimental reasons.

  • Chockd1

What’s she doing flying with that Trash British Airways, anyway…?

  • T T

    She is liar and stupid,

  • Sixninecat
