Kim Kardashian and Kanye West NOT In “Divorce Court,” Despite Report
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are NOT going to “divorce court,” despite the latest In Touch cover story. Gossip Cop can bust this report, which comes from the same tabloid that has been publishing bogus split rumors about the couple since the moment they got married earlier this year. It’s appalling that In Touch expects its readers to fall for the same demonstrably false nonsense week after week.
“Fights! Power plays! Secret meetings with lawyers! It’s the end for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West,” declares In Touch, which seems to believe that repeating a lie often enough somehow makes it true. Anyway, according to a so-called “source” for the outlet, “Kanye is done with their marriage and wants out right away. The marriage has become more like a business deal, and he doesn’t want to pretend anymore. He wanted a child and he got that, but now he knows there’s nothing left between him and Kim. He’s going to file for divorce — and drag her to court.”
Wow, how dramatic. Of course, Kardashian and West welcomed daughter North nearly a year before they got married, so the In Touch premise that he got married in order to have a child makes no sense whatsoever, but why should facts matter? The rest of the article is mostly filler, since there’s no story here. In Touch speculates about what West could say on the “witness stand,” talks about Kardashian’s previous divorce from Kris Humphries, fabricates alleged meetings with divorce attorneys, and even regurgitates its own old false stories about a celebrity “threesome” in the couple’s past.
It’s all untrue and pretty boring. We have to assume In Touch does well with these endless Kim-Kanye “divorce” stories, because the magazine keeps running the same bogus rumor on its cover, over and over. Gossip Cop will keep holding the tabloid accountable for its lies. A rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the latest In Touch story is “false.”
