Kim Howe Identified As Woman Killed In Bruce Jenner Crash
Kim Howe has been identified as the woman killed in this weekend’s deadly multi-vehicle crash involving Bruce Jenner. She was a 69-year-old widow who lived in Calabasas and Malibu.
Public records show that Howe had a home in the same gated community in Calabasas as Jenner’s former stepdaughters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian. But a spokesperson for Jenner tells Gossip Cop there’s “no indication” he knew Howe before Saturday’s tragic events.
Howe was behind the wheel of a Lexus on the Pacific Coast Highway when the Toyota Prius ahead of her stopped and she slammed into it. Jenner, driving a Cadillac Escalade behind Howe, crashed into her, sending Howe’s car into oncoming traffic, where a Hummer collided with it. Howe died at the scene.
Authorities are still trying to determine exactly what happened to cause the accident. Jenner has said that he wasn’t distracted by texting at the time of the accident, and has volunteered to show investigators his cell phone records.
On Sunday, Jenner expressed his sorrow about the incident in a statement to Gossip Cop: “My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”
