Kim Fields Kicks Off ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Premiere With Cha Cha (VIDEO)
Kim Fields and partner Sasha Farber kicked off Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” premiere with a cha cha to Fleur East’s “Sax.” For the most part the judges and audience were impressed with the first dance of the night. Watch the video below.
Before Fields did her routine, she and Farber practiced their routine during which the actress discussed her various credits, including “The Facts Of Life” and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” At one point, Farber said she needs to cover her crotch, but didn’t want to say that. Instead, to make him feel more comfortable, she told her dance partner to call it her “treasure.”
After their routine, returning judge Len Goodman said, “I liked it,” adding, “I like the timing. He felt “it was crisp and sharp.” Goodman added, “That was a great start to the show… Well done.” Bruno Tonioli told Fields that while she has “a lot of energy, you gotta work on the foot placement.” Still, he felt, “I loved it.” And Carrie Ann Inaba said, “I see a whole lot of fierceness in a tiny package.” She warned, however, to not “rush [because] you got ahead of the music.”
For their very first dance, Fields and Farber got a 7 from Inaba, a 6 from Goodman, and a 7 from Tonioli for a total of 20 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of Fields and Farber’s cha cha to Fleur East’s “Sax” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
