Brad Pitt stars in Killing Them Softly, an underworld crime thriller in which Pitt plays an enforcer brought into the aftermath of a mob-related poker game heist.

The film — and Pitt — won critical raves at Cannes.

It also features James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Richard Jenkins and Sam Rockwell.

The movie opens in October.
