Usher’s Stepson, Kile Glover, Laid to Rest

Truth rating: 10

(Twitter)

Usher’s 11-year-old stepson, Kile Glover, was laid to rest on Friday, less than a week after being taken off life support following a tragic jet ski accident.

Earlier in the day, the boy’s funeral took place at Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Atlanta.

Glover was hurt on July 7 while riding an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Georgia when a family friend lost control of his jet ski and hit the boy.

The collision left Glover brain dead, and his mother, Tameka Raymond, eventually made the decision with doctors to remove him from life support.

Usher was reportedly present for the funeral, along with his ex-wife and a large contingent of friends and family.

Our family was on Lake Hartwell at the same time of this accident. It was heartbreaking because we also enjoy tubing, wake boarding, knee boarding and going on the jet ski’s but we must use & enforce water safety rules. That jet skier should never have been that close to the tube, kids jump off the tubes & sometimes are thrown off so a jet skier that close is very, very dangerous. This accident was a very senseless one. Our heart go out to Usher & his family.

It’s always a sad situation when a child dies, accident or other wise. Kyle was a handsome young man, and probably would have grown up to be a productive adult. May he enter into the Kingdom of GOD, peacefully, and rest in eternal peace. Prayers are with his family and friends.
