UPDATE – 7:15PM -
It looks like no crime was committed. Reportedly, someone became suspicious when someone with a pillowcase over his or her head was rushed into the house. Speculation is that it may have simply been to avoid being photographed.
As reported earlier, the man who’d been cuffed by police was quickly released.
As of now, no more details to report, and the story is hopefully over.

Police were summoned to the home of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, where there was a call for a “possible kidnapping.”
The Los Angeles Police Department blocked off the street near the reality TV stars’ house and swarmed the area, reports TMZ. Several cops “jumped the fence.” A man was arrested and briefly handcuffed in the back of a police car, but sources now claim the man was uncuffed and released.
The man who had been cuffed says he “works for Spencer Pratt.”
There’s never a lack of drama around Spencer and Heidi.
There’s a lot of confusion right now about what’s happened. Gossip Cop will monitor closely…

And don’t think that the trying not to be photographed has anything to do with them getting tired of the paps taking their pictured. They didn’t want Heidi to be photographed and jeopardize her exclusive on her new look with People. I feel foolish for thinking the lack of Spencer and Heidi lately was due to their 15 minutes being up but it looks like they disappeared so Heidi could go a plastic surgery bender.
That should be go on a.
hahaha, dawn marie, gc didnt say the paps, just that heidi didnt want to be photographed. but everyone knows youre a lame blogger who comes here to hate on gc. epic fail. and you and your brother (lol) are stupid. you just showed your cards with “i feel foolish for thinking the lack of spencer and heidi lately was due to their 15 minutes being up.” the rest of us dont “think” like that, only you lousy bloggers do. hahaha. more epic fail.
Keep thinking I am a lame blogger but I am not. I don’t have a blog. I don’t work for a blog.
i feel so sorry for this woman, she will do anything to gain attention even destroy her body, she should take lessons from what happened to michael jackson and remember how he ended up
I don’t feel sorry for her at all, nor do I feel that she’s sick. She wants attention, attention, and more attention – it’s all about her, and by god she’s getting it. It’s just like the white house crashers. They, and Heidi, are loving every bit of all this media spotlight. My question is, why are we GIVING it to them? If magazines would stop paying hundreds of thousands for one photograph… oh hell, now I got myself started. You get the idea!
