Khloe Kardashian People V OJ Simpson Reaction

Khloe Kardashian says she has “reservations” about “The People V. O.J. Simpson,” and has not yet watched the FX miniseries that depicts her late father and their family. Watch below.

As Gossip Cop has reported, the FX show recreates Simpson’s infamous murder trial for the deaths of his wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. Robert Kardashian, a close friend of the former NFL player, served on Simpson’s defense team. Kris Jenner was best friends with Brown, and attended not just her funeral, but also the trial.

The Kardashian kids have appeared in brief scenes, with child actors depicting them as rambunctious, self-centered youth. In one scene for instance, “Kris” yells at “Kourtney” and “Khloe” to stop running around at Brown’s funeral, and in another, the girls, along with “Kim” and “Rob,” chant “Kardashian” as they watch their father on TV. But though Jenner did press in advance of the series, no one in the family publicly commented once it started airing earlier this month.

Now on this Wednesday’s “Kocktails with Khloe,” Kardashian actually starts a conversation about the program. In a preview clip, she’s seen asking guests Ross Matthews and Carmen Electra whether they’ve seen the show, and confesses she hasn’t watched it. “I have it on DVD. I just haven’t seen it yet,” she says.

Kardashian continues, “I’ve seen all of the documentaries or the rehashing of the footage of the O.J. trial and all this stuff, and just seeing like my dad and everything again, I relive emotions. Like, ‘Oh my god, I forgot the sound of my dad’s voice.'”

She goes on to say that she feels badly for the Simpson children, calling it “f*cked up” that they now have to live through all this attention again. “I understand why it came back. I just feel bad and I think I’m a little more sensitive to it, cause he was my Uncle O.J., like that’s always what I called him,” says Kardashian.

“So just hearing things or I might remember things differently — I definitely want to watch it,” the reality star says. “I was also just afraid of how they would portray my dad. I hear David Schwimmer did a phenomenal job, and they play him really true to form, so I’m grateful for that.”

Kardashian adds, “It’s not that I won’t watch it. I just have like a little reservation about it.” Check out her full comments below.
