TAB: Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom On Verge of “$67 Million Divorce”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are heading for “$67 Million Divorce,” shouts the latest cover of Star magazine.

The tabloid alleges that after three years together, “Lamar is on the verge of leaving Khloe for good!”

Why?

Star insists that the couple’s fertility struggles and Odom’s frustration with “omnipresent” TV cameras brought them to a “boiling point” in September.

A so-called “insider” claims Odom recently yelled, “You can’t give me kids — I’m out!” at his wife, storming out of their home and running off to Las Vegas.

Kardashian was purportedly “devastated” and supposedly “fled” to Florida to seek comfort with her family and figure out how to save her marriage.

Gossip Cop has already demonstrated that this month-old version of events is sensationalized and bogus.

But Star persists, claiming that Odom is increasingly upset about Kardashian’s “controlling ways” and their failure to have children.

“The only thing Lamar has been sticking around for was a child,” explains a so-called “insider” for the tabloid, adding, “But since Khloe hasn’t been able to get pregnant, he doesn’t see any point in staying in the marriage. He’s done.”

Meanwhile, Odom’s supposedly upset about the presence of reality TV cameras and, according to the Star source, upset that his wife “completely took over Lamar’s life,” supposedly spending all his money and micromanaging everything from his diet to his friendships.

One “source” tells Star that Odom “had a secret meeting with a divorce lawyer.”

“He wants to be sure he’s protected, because he knows the Kardashians will try to fight for a chunk of his fortune,” explains the so-called “insider.” “He’d rather just serve her with papers and be done, as opposed to telling her the truth and having her freak out.”

Let’s cut through this nonsense right here.

Star’s track record with Kardashian and Odom is laughable.

Last spring, the outlet ran a totally wrong cover story claiming it was “The End” for the couple, and that their infertility issues had pushed them “past the point of no return.”

Apparently, Star doesn’t have a firm grasp on what “The End” means, since the couple is still happily together, even after subsequent articles attacking their marriage, such as the 100 percent misguided prediction that Odom’s departure from the Dallas Mavericks “could break them apart forever.”

Last month, the magazine ran a bizarre story about Kardashian feeling “abandoned” by her sisters, another bogus storyline that it seems to have “abandoned” this week.

Over and over again, Star has said Odom and Kardashian were on the brink of a split.

Every time, the tabloid’s been wrong.

It’s the case again this week.

Odom and Kardashian are NOT about to break up over their baby struggles, despite Star’s newest mean-spirited article.

A source close to the couple calls the Star cover story “ridiculous” and assures Gossip Cop that Kardashian and Odom are perfectly OK.
