Ke$ha is the latest victim of false death rumors.

“RIP Kesha” began trending on Twitter late Saturday, originally as a way — apparently — for fans to promote her new single “Die Young.”

Not surprisingly, the phrase soon morphed into speculation that the singer had actually died.

Ke$ha is NOT dead.

The rumor is 100 percent false.

It’s just another example of a death hoax getting completely out of hand on social media.
