Kesha NOT “Begging” Taylor Swift To Do Duet, Despite Report (EXCLUSIVE)
The so-called “exclusive” comes from HollywoodLife, which says Kesha “isn’t going to let the lawsuit against Dr. Luke derail her creative process!” Despite their continuing court battle, the webloid claims she’s “asking her huge supports [sic] like Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson to do a special duet record with her.” A supposed “insider” is quoted as saying, “Kesha wants to do a double album for her comeback. One disc devoted to all new songs by her and the second disc with duets with all the people that have shown her support like Taylor, Kelly and Zedd among others.”
That’s literally all the information the site has. Despite a headline proclaiming “Kesha Begs Taylor Swift & Other Supporters To Record Duets For Comeback Album,” absolutely no details are provided about how the singer is supposedly “begging” them to collaborate. And that’s because the story is seemingly made up, crafted by HollywoodLies for the sole purpose of capitalizing on the attention surrounding Kesha’s case and the big-name stars standing by her.
Gossip Cop checked in with Kesha’s camp, and we exclusively learned that there are no such plans for duets with Swift or other performers. There’s a lot of “he said, she said” involved in Kesha’s legal battle, but there’s no need for erroneous reports to be added to the mix.
