Kentucky Vs. Northern Kentucky Live Stream: Watch NCAA Tournament Online!
Kentucky and Northern Kentucky will play against each other in the 2017 NCAA Tournament on Friday. Check out the live stream below!
The seeding for this year’s March Madness was revealed last Sunday. Kentucky, with a record of 29-5 for the 2016-2017 regular season, landed the number two seed in the South Regional section. North Kentucky, at 24-10, was seeded 15th. And they were matched up to face-off in the tournament’s first round, with the game being held on neutral territory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
This will mark the University of Kentucky’s 57th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Last year, the Wildcats lost in the second round. But the team has won the entire tournament eight times, most recently in 2012.
Meanwhile, for Northern Kentucky University, this is the very first time the Norse will play in the NCAA Tournament. Previously a Division II school, the Division I transition required a waiting period before the team would be eligible to compete in the Big Dance. Now in the school’s first year of eligibility, Northern Kentucky scored an automatic bid after winning the Horizon League Tournament earlier this month.
So, which Kentucky-based university will come out on top? The Norse players are certainly looking to make a big impression in their first appearance, but the odds are in the Wildcats’ favor. Tip-off should go down around 9:40 p.m. Eastern Time. NOTE: The live stream is no longer available.
