Kendall Jenner Granted 5-Year Restraining Order Against Stalker Shavaughn McKenzie
Kendall Jenner was granted a five-year restraining order against Shavaughn McKenzie, the man arrested in August for stalking the model. On Thursday, the obsessed fan was ordered by a Los Angeles judge to always stay 100 yards away from Jenner for the next half-decade.
As Gossip Cop reported, Jenner obtained a temporary restraining order against McKenzie last August after she discovered him waiting for her on the driveway of her Hollywood Hills home. When Jenner opened her security gate to drive up to her residence, the man followed on foot. She subsequently called the police from insider her car, and he was charged with misdemeanor stalking and trespassing.
Now, a judge extended Jenner’s restraining order for the next five years after she took the stand to testify against McKenzie, who’s also facing criminal charges. The model recounted the frightening ordeal in the courtroom, telling the judge, “I’ve never been so scared in my life.” She provided additional details about the encounter, explaining that McKenzie’s head was tucked between his knees when she first spotted him.
Jenner went on to say the man banged on all the windows of her car when she screamed at him to leave, but she was able to drive down the street to get away from him. As per the court order, not only is McKenzie not permitted to be anywhere near Jenner, but he also can’t be within close proximity to her house, car or place of work.
