WATCH: Kendall Jenner Stars In New Andy Warhol-Inspired Dazed Video!
Kendall Jenner brings her Dazed magazine cover shoot to life in a new short film inspired by some of the famous screen tests conducted by Andy Warhol. Jenner, who posed for the magazine’s Winter issue, is transformed into a series of personas for the video entitled “Girl on Film.” Jenner explains, “On the shoot, we tried to create different characters that were all me.” Watch it below!
The reality star and model was styled by Robbie Spencer for the clip shot by Ben Toms. It was filmed to look like footage from a vintage VHS tape and features unpublished images from Jenner’s Dazed photo shoot. Static appears on the screen as Jenner takes on each new character. The reality TV star dons a series of black wigs and designer clothes throughout the video.
Jenner covered Dazed’s Winter issue after earning the top spot on the Dazed 100 list of “cultural renegades” who are changing the face of fashion, film, art and music. The model previously filmed a Mean Girls-inspired video for the magazine, which debuted in late November, which shows Jenner is sprawled on a pink bed as she writes cruel comments about herself and her career in a Burn Book.
The young model is having a huge year. She recently filmed a naughty holiday video for Love magazine’s advent calender, in which she is seen getting spanked by Santa while wearing black lingerie. In recent months, it was announced that Jenner would appear in Karl Lagerfeld’s spring 2015 ads and that she is the new face of iconic beauty brand Estee Lauder.
