Kenan Thompson Leaving Saturday Night Live?
Kenan Thompson is leaving “Saturday Night Live,” claims a new report.
But he’ll reportedly be doing so after the upcoming season.
According to TMZ, the long-serving cast member had planned to exit the show after last year, but boss Lorne Michaels convinced him to stay given the big “SNL” turnover.
An “SNL” spokesperson, however, tells Gossip Cop the report is “inaccurate as the season hasn’t even started and cast decisions aren’t made until the end of the season.”
Thompson has been on “Saturday Night Live” since 2003, making him one of the longest tenured stars in the show’s 40-year history.
Of course, he also starred on the Nickelodeon sketch series “All That” as a teenager.
Thompson recently welcomed a baby with wife Christina Evangeline, and reportedly plans to move to Los Angeles when his “SNL” run ends.
