Kelsey Grammer to Sister’s Murderer: “I Forgive You” – LISTEN HERE
Kelsey Grammer says he forgives his sister’s murderer, Freddie Glenn, but doesn’t want him to receive parole.
In 1975, the actor’s sister, Karen Elisa Grammer, was kidnapped and killed by Glenn and two accomplices in Colorado Springs.
Glenn was convicted for her murder and the death of two other men, and has been serving a life sentence in Colorado.
On Tuesday, Grammer testified at Glenn’s parole hearing via video conference, and said, “I miss her all the time.”
He told Glenn, “I accept that you live with remorse. But I live with tragedy every day.”
“I accept your apology. I forgive you,” added Grammer, “However, I cannot give your release my endorsement. To give that a blessing would be a betrayal of my sister’s life.”
Glenn’s request for parole was officially denied. He will be allowed to reapply in three years.
