It’s all about positioning himself for his up coming custody battle with Camille. He doesn’t want the kids nor does he want to be in LA, in reality this is all a ploy to avoid paying child support. If he was so concerned with spending time with his abandoned children he probably would have spent more than 3 days with them in 2010.
