Kelly Ripa, Megyn Kelly NOT Feuding, Despite Report
Kelly Ripa and Megyn Kelly are NOT feuding, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”
“Kelly And Kelly In Vicious Catfight!” blares an alarming headline from this week’s National Enquirer, which goes on to claim Ripa is “terrified” Kelly will blast “Live” from its “rating perch” after joining rival network NBC. A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “Kelly is making herself crazy that Megyn will cream her. [Ripa] fears Megyn will steal her thunder.”
The magazine’s dubious insider further purports, “Kelly is insisting they try out everyone” to replace former co-host Michael Strahan on “Live.” “Kelly thought Megyn would be a good fit. Now, Kelly feels betrayed, in addition to being worried,” concludes the tipster.
But Gossip Cop investigated, and a source close to the situation assures us the report is completely “false.” Ripa and Kelly are not feuding, nor is the “Live” host concerned Kelly’s potential new show could jeopardize her ratings. Once again, the unreliable outlet has seemingly fabricated yet another fake news story.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Gossip Cop has busted the supermarket tabloid for its lack of reporting skills. In November, we called out the publication for falsely alleging Ripa didn’t want a new “Live” co-host. Much like that untrue article, this latest one is equally unfounded.
