Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin NOT Fighting Over Fashion Police Salary
Kelly Osbourne is NOT “livid” over Kathy Griffin joining “Fashion Police” at a high salary, despite another sad attempt by RadarOnline to sensationalize a perfectly happy relationship into some kind of fight. Of course, RadarOnline is the same outlet that published a false report claiming Osbourne had “heckled” her colleague and friend, the late Joan Rivers, at a comedy show earlier this year.
This time, the webloid cites a so-called “insider” who alleges Osbourne is “pissed” about Griffin’s compensation. “Kathy’s starting pay is considerably higher than she was granted,” explains the RadarOnline source. The outlet breathlessly reports that Griffin’s salary “may be just the first Fashion Police faux pas that erupts between the two.”
“Kathy and Kelly have never seen eye-to-eye on anything and it seems like there is going to be a lot of drama,” reports the RadarOnline source, giving no specifics whatsoever, because why would specifics be important in a piece of reporting? Instead, RadarOnline focuses on some of the “backlash” Griffin has faced from the public, not from Osbourne. And the reason there are no details is because the story is made up.
A source close to Osbourne laughed off the RadarOnline report, telling Gossip Cop it’s “completely fabricated.” We’re told the two ladies have been “friends for years, and nothing has changed.” As Gossip Cop keeps pointing out, tabloids and webloids seem to find any excuse to pit women against each other, even if there’s no basis for a feud. This is another example.
