Kelly Osbourne Talks Kate Middleton’s Repeat Outfits

Kelly Osbourne offered the future Queen of England some fashion advice on “The Tonight Show.”

When Jay Leno asked her after if it was a “faux pas” for Kate Middleton to repeatedly recycle her outfits at public events, Osbourne responded, “Only in this country they call it a faux pas. In England they’re like, ‘Look how thrifty she’s being, showing the British public that the royals are in a recession as well.’”

Osbourne added,  ”If I had that job I would only wear it once… If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I’m going to wear that dress once because I’m giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy — at least I can get a new dress every day.”

And when Leno asked about tossing one’s underwear every day, Osbourne answered, “If I could, I would. That’s a really good idea, actually.”

    Kelly, it’s called being human and a role-model…something you won’t be able to come to terms with. Human: you buy something you like with the intent to wear it a few times. Role-model: because Duchess Catherine is showing how you can use your wardrobe time-and-time again and still look like a knock-out while not wasting money by buying a new outfit each day! At least she is showing people out there, doesn’t matter who you are, don’t waste. What now, if she bought a new outfit each day, then in a few month’s time everybody will be slamming her for being a spendthrift?! You’re off by books little child, hope they take your credit card away from you!

    UPSET, I totally agree with you, So much was being said before the wedding about how they (K&W) will have to cut down to show that the Monarchy realizes that PEOPLE ARE HURTING FINANCIALLY… They were having riots in Great Britain right before, over tuition costs going up…. The fact that Kate wears the same outfits over again and looks fresh and beautiful and a double plus…. this way, people can not say ‘she does not have a job and is spending too much of the country’s money on clothes’. While she spends more on outfits then I can afford, she spends far less then Princess diana did and i am sure less then some of the others in the Monarchy (Fergie’s (sarah) daughter’s hats were Ugly and cost a fortune at that wedding, how much do they spend the rest of the year? I have even heard people criticize her sister Pippa for wearing the same thing. SHE IS A COMMONER, who works! Yes, their parents built up their party mail order company to over a million dollars, but it is not a billion dollar comp. and it is not Kate’s or Pippas. And yes, Kelly Osborne, famous because of her parents ONLY-(okay, give cable tv credit-the family had/has? a reality show, that is where we met the rest of the family) is off criticizing Christina Aguliara (?) on her weight and clothes too…. Not on her talent..

    I think one way or another she earns her living so there’s no one who could “take her credit card away”(like someone said)…and don’t get me wrong, i think many of her statements are quite rude and mean, like the one of Christina who hasn’t done anything but defend herself from kelly… but anyway, how can all of you complain that she is rude and has to stop calling people, who may even be more talented than her, rude names when you are all doing that exact same thing against her :/ i just don’t get it, it’s either a lot of hypocrisy or just jealousy because someone who has no talent what soever like kelly could get that far…

    I think most of you have taken what she said the wrong way. She’s not saying there’s anything wrong with Kate wearing outfits over, she just saying what she would do if she were in her shoes, and she has a point. Even though these are economic hard times, we all know if she really wanted a different dress or outfit everyday she could have one and most likely she could get it for free because everytime she puts anything on it sells out in a matter of seconds. I get that Kate’s showing she’s just like everybody else but the reality is she’s not, she’s a future Queen and will see more money then some of us will ever make in a 3 life times….long story short lay off Kelly because what she said wasn’t even bad nor was it disrespectful to anyone.I think most of you have taken what she said the wron

    Kelly does look nice these days but I’m still not sure what qualifies her to be a fashion expert. I won’t be watching fashion police any longer for two reasons. The first is Joan and Kelly’s filthy mouths. The second is I am not watching any more E shows until the Kardashians are gone forever. One person may not make a difference but it is my stand.
