Kelly Clarkson brought a beautiful intensity to Inauguration Day with her performance of “America (My Country, ‘Tis of Thee).”

The first-ever “American Idol” winner took the stage in front of President Obama, the First Family, and hundreds of thousands who gathered at the Capitol for the historic celebration.

As Clarkson walked off-stage after her breathtaking rendition, she could be seen mouthing, “That was so nerve-wracking!”

She later tweeted, “Wow ….I was incredibly nervous and cold ha! I just wanna officially thank President Obama for opening for me haha! Just kidding :)”
