WATCH: Kelli Glover’s “Killer,” “Flawless,” “Unforgettable” Alicia Keys Cover on AGT
First, Whitney Houston. Now, Alicia Keys.
On Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent,” the last night of quarterfinal performances, Kelli Glover once again proved she can measure up with some of music’s all-time greats.
The singer, a returning contestant seeking redemption, belted out “If I Ain’t Got You,” much to the delight of the crowd and judges. “You were the last act of tonight, and you gave us an unforgettable performance,” Heidi Klum said afterward. “It was flawless, and girl, you got my vote.”
Mel B thought Glover was unconfident at the start, and encouragingly told her that she’s a “killer singer” who is “truly amazing,” and therefore should act like it. Howard Stern noted, “You gave it your all.”
And Howie Mandel summed it all up with, “You taught everybody never give up. Tonight you ended off the evening perfectly.”
